You’d
better bring your dancing shoes if you are planning
to attend this year’s 4th Annual Kiwanis Hudson
Pumpkinfest
on Sunday, October 17th.
Even the pumpkins will be dancing when family entertainer Judy Pancoast
brings her outrageously fun live concert to the event for the first time.
The concert will begin at two pm.
Pancoast has been making
kids and parents dance and sing since 1996 and in 48 states. She is a member
of the NH State Council on the Arts’ Artists in Education Roster, meaning
her programs have been deemed among the highest quality for educational and
artistic value and she has been honored by the New Hampshire State Senate
for her work with the state’s children. Her music has received numerous
awards and the endorsement of the National Coalition for Quality Children’s
media. In 2004 and 2005 she spent time in Kenya at Nyumbani Children’s
Home, where the children composed several songs under her direction. The
songs were then released on CD as a special fundraising project for the
orphanage. Her family concerts feature fun, original, up-beat tunes and
lots and lots of audience interaction.
The Charlestown Bridge said of Judy’s
concert presentation, “… the spontaneous release of unbridled cleverness was
all Judy Pancoast.”
Judy’s concert will include popular fan
favorites such as Swimming in Jello and I Can’t Go Surfin’
from her latest CD Weird Things are Everywhere! For more information
about Judy Pancoast visit her online at
www.judypancoast.com.
Audiences should come prepared to sing, shout, dance
and swim in Jello! |
